Obituary

Elana “Lani” Campbell passed away on March 17th, 2026 in Orlando, FL. She was born in Syracuse NY on July 25th, 1970.

She was a beautiful shining light to everyone who knew her. She was always the funniest person in the room. She loved to take photographs, paint, make jewelry and other creative outlets.

She was so kind, humble and compassionate. She was happiest when she saw her loved ones happy. She was clever, funny, talented and beautiful. She was a wonderful sister and amazing friend. She loved being an auntie. She loved the children in her life and they loved her. She made a difference in each life she touched.

She loved Jesus Christ. She knew that the only way to Heaven is calling on Jesus as Lord and putting faith in His grace rather than her works. She put her faith in Him and looked forward to eternal life with her LORD. She wanted the same for every single person in this world.

She is preceded in death by her mother Zandra Boam Campbell, father Oren Eudon Campbell, and brother Raymond Campbell. She is survived by sisters Stacy Papke and Donna Campbell, Nephew David Campbell and his wife Kacie as well as niece Cyndi Papke and grandniece Zandra. She will be missed deeply by many, many more.

I will truly miss Lani. She was such a sweet cousin. I have enjoyed the time I was able to spend with her over the last couple of years. Although we are cousins we had not seen each other much for several years. We had reconnected and those times spent together will always be special to me. I will see you someday in Heaven. Love you Lani

It hurts. I cannot believe you are gone. No more singing, laughing, driving around, just hanging out together anymore and that makes me sad! I know you were at peace and that makes me happy. I know God has you and you are free of all your earthly struggles and limitations, for that I am grateful and rejoice! I love you Lani, my true friend, life long friend, best friend! I am better for having known you and I will never be the same! Heaven is a sweeter place! Until we both rest in glory!! I love you!!

I regret that I never met my first cousin, Don,, and his delightful family. I fell in love with them on Facebook. My heart has ached to watch Lani's suffering. I know she was a magnificent treasure to all who were close to her. We all await the day for that great a Campbell family reunion in Heaven. Donna, Stacey, and nieces and bells, you all are in my thoughts and prayers.
