Obituary

Ann Elizabeth “Anna” Berti, age 90, of Lakewood, NJ, passed away peacefully on

September 1, 2026.

Born on December 6, 1935, in New York City, Ann lived a long and full life marked by kindness,

humor, and an unwavering love for her family and friends. She built a respected career in banking,

ultimately retiring after more than 26 years of dedicated service as a bank manager. Her

professionalism, warmth, and steady presence left a lasting impression on colleagues and customers

alike.

To those who knew her, Ann was a source of joy and comfort. She had a gentle wit, a welcoming

smile, and a way of making everyone feel at ease. Family was the center of her world, and she

cherished every moment spent with her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and the many

relatives and friends who adored her.

Ann found simple pleasures in everyday life, whether enjoying walks around her neighborhood,

sharing conversations over coffee, or taking trips to Atlantic City where she loved playing the

slots. These moments, big and small, reflected her appreciation for connection, laughter, and the

rhythm of a life well-lived.

She is survived by her children Andy, Anthony, Jean Marie, and Joseph, as well as her seven beloved

grandchildren, all of whom carry forward her legacy of love, resilience, and kindness.

Ann will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing

her.
