HelenAnne Lewis, also known as “Skier”, passed away on May 31, 2024 at the age of 55 after a courageous battle with ovarian cancer. She departed peacefully in Paramus, New Jersey surrounded by loved ones. HelenAnne was born on July 17, 1968, in White Plains, New York. She touched the lives of those around her with her strength, resilience, and unwavering spirit. She was a generous and genuine individual who never forgot anyone's birthday. Despite facing the challenges of her illness, she remained a beacon of hope and inspiration to all who knew her. HelenAnne was also a very spunky individual. She loved music, especially the 80’s era. She enjoyed dancing, spending time with friends and family, especially her mother Roseanne. She embodied kindness and compassion in all aspects of her life, including her work. HelenAnne served alongside a family of coworkers and friends in supermarkets for many years, and also brightened people’s lives with her talents in the cosmetic arts and makeup. HelenAnne’s faith was a guiding light in her life, which she shared with her fellow parishioners at the Montvale Evangelical Free Church, and with her family. Her legacy of love will be cherished by all who had the privilege of sharing in her Earthly journey. HelenAnne is survived by her husband Antony D. Lewis, her mother Roseanne Ostrander, and her siblings: Richard Ostrander, Jr. and his partner Hope; David Ostrander and his wife Laurie; and Lisa Ostrander and her wife Joann. HelenAnne is predeceased by her father Richard Ostrander, Sr., and is mourned by many aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews, friends and extended family, and especially her “Aunt Mimi”, Maryanne Cacciola-McLean. Services to honor HelenAnne's life will be held on Saturday, June 15, 2024 at 1:00pm at the Montvale Evangelical Free Church, located at 141 W Grand Ave, Montvale, NJ 07645. HelenAnne Lewis will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her memory will be cherished as one of kindness, love, and joy.
